During the darker nights, weekly ‘Turbo Training’ sessions are held to offer a social element to your winter night training blues. These keep everyone in shape for the return of Spring and the start of our weekly ride outs.

Road Biking
This vibrant section of the club enjoys the excellent quiet country roads and the sometimes challenging gradients found in the Tweed Valley.
A wide variety of organised runs and events take place on the road with outline details provided in the section below.
We have three Saturday morning runs. The 17mph group leaves Kingsmeadows carpark at 9:30. The 15mph and 12mph groups leave Bspoke Cycles in Peebles High Street at 9.30 throughout the year. These are weather dependant and information is posted on the PCC members Facebook page… for any last minute arrangements.
PCC organise an Annual 55 miles open Road Race. This takes place in April of each year and is aimed at encouraging development of grass roots Road Racing. A full field of 60 riders is always expected as the event is part of the East of Scotland Development series and open to any 3rd and 4th category riders. Priority for entry is given to members of clubs of organising events in the Road Race Series. BC members can enter this event is via the British Cycling Events system. Places for PCC members are always available.
Weekly time trials are organised throughout the summer from March to September culminating in the annual Hill Climb, see the separate section.
The Tour of Tweeddale Sportive takes place each September and offers alternative routes ranging from 50 to 90 miles each starting and finishing in Peebles.
