SUMMARY:PCC Sportive - Le Tour de Tweed Valley
DESCRIPTION:Peebles Cycling Club is pleased to announce the return of the PCC Sportive on Sunday 28 June 2026.  \nSIGN UP HERE \nNext year\, the Tour de France will pass through the Scottish Borders and this year’s PCC Sportive will give riders the chance to experience some of those great roads in advance. Our updated route takes in the iconic ride through the Granites\, offering a spectacular and challenging day on some of the best cycling roads in the Scottish Borders.  \nRiders will be able to choose from two routes:  \n\n“Classic” 46 miles –  \n\n\nA classic loop through the Granites – the first hills of the 2027 Tour de France – Stage 1 \n\n\nFeed Station at Temple \n\n\n46 mile route with GPX \n\n\nClassic – Strava \n\n\n“Challenge” 81 miles – a full day out across Tweeddale and the Borders \n\n\nFeed Stations at Fountainhall and Temple \n\n\n81 mile route GPX \n\n\nChallenge – Strava \n\n\nBoth routes will feature well-stocked feed stations\, clear route marking and the friendly atmosphere that PCC events are known for. \n\nWhether you’re local or travelling to ride in the Borders\, we hope you’ll join us for a great day on the bike\, with pizza and beer (inc. alcohol free) at the finish!  \n \nArrangements  \nOnline entries close Sunday 21st June.  No entries on the day. No riders under 18 (on day of the event)  \nEarly Bird Entry cost is £30\, until 15th April ’26\, which includes online admin charge  \nFull Entry Cost is £35 after this date  \nRegistration will be at Kingsmeadows Car Park\, Peebles\, adjacent to the start.  \nhttps://maps.app.goo.gl/NZPK7Y8wJ38n6Loj8  \nRegistration opens at 7.30am\, and closes at 8.45am. The last departure for The Challenge will be at 8.30am\, and for The Classic by 9am.  \nFinish will be in Neidpath Road Car Park\, Peebles.
