Introduction to Mountain Bike Orienteering

New members, Keith and Karena Dawson offer an introduction to Mountain Bike Orienteering, a two hour course, on Sunday 24th September at 2 pm. Then you can try out your new found skills at a race being held at Craigmillar in Edinburgh the following weekend, Sunday 1st October.
The introduction will familiarise you with basic map reading and deliver tips on planning and navigating your course.
There will be some controls placed in Glentress forest for you to hunt on your mountain bike. We will meet in the Red Squirrel Car Park at 2 pm, if there are enough members interested. Bring your bike, and a compass if you have one. We will supply mapboards for loan read the map easily while you ride.
