Charity Ride for Diabetes UK and Parkinson’s UK

Matt Davies, Dominic’s Dad, will be cycling 1000 miles around the UK starting in an attempt to raise £50,000 for two charities that are close to his heart, Diabetes UK and Parkinson’s UK. The route departs from London on the 9th June, and, following a tortuous route via Exeter, Bath, Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow, arrives in Edinburgh on the evening of the 17th June. Which means around 8 hours in the saddle each day. Having done various local Sportives in preparation, he knows how tough it is going to. Matt is aware that it’s a challenging time for us all at the moment, and seeking pledges for charity events is not popular. But it’s a challenging time too for the charities and the families they support. Every £ counts, so whatever you can spare, this week’s bottle of wine, or the price of a coffee or two, would be much appreciated.
